These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of dstcoatings.com (the "Site"), operated by Dominion Surface Technologies ("DST Coatings," "we," "us" or "our"), and our text messaging program. By using the Site or opting in to text messages, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Use of the Site
You may use the Site to learn about our services and to contact us. You agree not to misuse the Site, including by submitting false or misleading information, attempting to interfere with its operation, scraping content or using it for any unlawful purpose.
2. Estimates and services
Information on the Site describes the floor systems we install and is provided for general guidance. It is not an offer or a quote. Every project is priced after an on-site assessment, and the scope, materials, schedule and price for your project are set out in a written proposal. Descriptions of durability, finishes and timelines are typical ranges and depend on slab condition, use and environment, which we evaluate on site.
3. SMS / text messaging terms
Program description. Dominion Surface Technologies offers text messaging to customers and prospective customers who opt in. Messages are conversational and transactional in nature and may include: confirmation of your estimate request, scheduling and appointment reminders for site visits and installations, questions about your floor and photos, project status updates, follow-up after completion, review requests and occasional service offers or promotions.
How to opt in. You consent to receive text messages from Dominion Surface Technologies by checking the SMS consent box on a form on the Site, by texting us first, or by giving us verbal or written permission. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies depending on your project and the stage of your inquiry. A typical estimate request involves a small number of messages over a few weeks.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan. Dominion Surface Technologies does not charge for text messages.
How to opt out. Reply STOP to any message to cancel. You will receive a single confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, after which you will receive no further messages unless you opt in again. You may also opt out by contacting us at 571-417-5802 or [email protected].

Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on your carrier and device, and we cannot guarantee that every message will be delivered.
Privacy. Your mobile number and opt-in information are handled as described in our Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Changes to your number. If you change or deactivate your mobile number, please let us know so we can update our records and avoid messaging a number that no longer belongs to you.
4. Intellectual property
The Site, including its text, graphics, logos, icons, photographs and layout, is owned by or licensed to Dominion Surface Technologies and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce or distribute Site content without our written permission, except for personal, non-commercial viewing.
5. Third-party content and links
The Site includes content from third parties such as Google Maps, Google Fonts and OpenStreetMap, and may link to other websites. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, services or privacy practices.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these Terms limits any written warranty that accompanies a signed installation contract.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dominion Surface Technologies and its owners, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or the text messaging program. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dominion Surface Technologies from any claims, damages or expenses arising from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Virginia.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on the Site. The effective date above shows when they were last changed. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
